Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering. Will consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• 15+ years of IT/telecom experience mandatory.
• Strong DWDM/optical standards and line systems knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to define software requirements.

Responsibilities

• The job may entail travel within Canada.
• Lead architectural design of optical/telecom embedded systems and next-generation Optical Line System.
• Collaborate with software architects and designers to translate product requirements into software and system architecture.
• Possess product ownership experience in Scrum teams is highly desirable.
