Why We Need You

We are seeking an experienced optical professional with at least five years of experience in a clinic or lab setting who is passionate about providing top-quality optical products to patients. You have a deep appreciation for frames, lenses, base curves, and optical technology.

You thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly growing environment where your optical expertise and leadership skills can make a meaningful impact every day. Collaboration is important to you, and you enjoy working in a team-oriented setting that fosters shared success.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

What Will You be Doing?

  • Work with all departments to prioritize, complete and ship work
  • Work with/Lead the Priority Service team to prioritize, manage and work efficiently
  • Effective communication with staff both on departmental specific procedural updates as well as more general company related updates
  • Complete quality reviews and make determinations on status and priority
  • Locate and prioritize work for the Priority Service Department based on all the key factors including volume, delay, urgency, difficulty
  • Specifically manage the Priority lists, tasks, queues and the Lab Remake process
  • Communicate with the Solutions team and clinics as it relates to Priority Requests, ETA’s, escalations, proactive changes, modifications and solutions, and temp wear options
  • Review work and make determinations on changes based on industry standards and best practices with the view to the best outcome for the patient and success of the lab
  • Have the final call and determination on the status of work
  • Communicate with other teammates as it relates to issues, resolutions and priority
  • Communicate coaching and training opportunities focusing on a culture of Continuous Improvement
  • Have an extremely detailed understanding of optics, optical products, processes and equipment as it relates to the flow of work through the lab from order receipt to shipping
  • Be an expert as it relates to the lens catalogues across all the FYi brands
  • Work in a collaborative and organized manner that facilitates the resolution of questions and ultimately delivers orders to the patients
  • Work cohesively with the priority team across all shifts to prioritize, delegate and divide daily tasks so that results are delivered productively and efficiently
  • Take pride and ownership in the lab’s products and overall quality

As the Successful Candidate, You Have

  • 5 plus years of optical experience, preferably in a fast-paced optical environment
  • Experience with ophthalmic laboratory equipment, (i.e. lensometer) and quality assurance procedures
  • Expert understanding of optical products and processes as it relates to the flow of work through the lab from order receipt to shipping.
  • A passion for delivering the best optical products to the patient
  • Licenced Optician Is Preferred

FYihealth group aims to create a comprehensive rewards package to attract and retain top talent. The expected compensation for this position is $55,300.00 - $70,000.00 annually considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications.
