Our FYidoctors Ladysmith clinic is seeking an Optical Associate to join our team. This is a full-time, fixed-term position working 30-40 hours per week. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, and the role is a six-month term.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
• Educating clients on eyewear options suitable for their lifestyle
• Informing patients about advances in eyewear solutions and assisting with frame selection
• Interpreting optical prescriptions from optometrists
• Measuring frames and faces for proper fit, and performing repairs and adjustments
• Assisting with contact lens orders and fittings
• Communicating with patients via in-person, phone, and email
• Handling billing for patients and third-party providers
• Managing appointments, prescriptions, and payments
