Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Adhere to service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements
• Assist customers with queries and support

Desired Skills & Experience

• Valid driver’s license
• Good standing with the Ontario College of Trades
• Certifications such as WAH, H&S Awareness, Scissor Lift, G1, 313A, ODP are preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a commercial HVAC Service Technician, with a willingness to continue education in HVAC (heating and cooling)
• Experience with refrigeration piping, construction, and service (maintenance & troubleshooting)
• Knowledge of advanced air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and boiler systems
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
• Ability to work in confined spaces; confined space certification is preferred
• Strong time management skills and ability to work autonomously
• Effective interpersonal skills to communicate technical information clearly to clients
