Your responsibilities

  • Complete preoperative and postoperative measurements, providing clear explanations to patients
  • Review imaging maps to validate their accuracy
  • Be knowledgeable about procedures and technologies available in the clinic
  • Provide outstanding customer service and patient care

Your assets

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's program in science (BSc), Opticianry program (license not required), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), or Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT)
  • Comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365; knowledge of EMR systems is an asset
  • Motivated to learn how to use diagnostic and testing tools
  • Experience in an eye-care environment is an asset
  • Willing to travel between clinics in Ottawa, Ottawa West, and Gatineau
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (advanced intermediate level of French required)
  • Flexible schedule from Monday to Friday (8:00 am - 4:00 pm) with occasional Saturdays & Sundays on rotation
