Work setting: Physician's office, Private practice

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour (to be negotiated), 35 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time, Day shifts, Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Administer eye drops, ointments, and medications as directed by ophthalmologists
• Operate ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments
• Record test results and medications administered by ophthalmologists
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
• Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a 3-month to less than 1-year program, or equivalent experience
• Experience: Will train
• Languages: English
