Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist to join the Vision Medical Devices team. This remote Canada-based role requires strong ophthalmology experience and the ability to coordinate clinical training for end users across Canada, with travel up to 70%.

The CAS will partner with Medical Affairs and Field Support Trainers to ensure certification and training materials are properly understood and implemented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical ophthalmology is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the Cataract and/or LASIK surgery suites preferably working with J&J products is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 70% domestically is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Medical Affairs to learn approved messaging and certification criteria.
• Provide clinical and technical training, certification, and support to ophthalmic and optometric HCPs and technical staff.
• Observe clinical education activities to facilitate learning for ophthalmic and optometric staff.
• Coordinate with Field Support Trainers and Regional Managers to execute training initiatives.
