Overview Of The Role

You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the Manager, Production, the Operator, Packaging is responsible for the smooth operation of all packaging equipment. They would be required to attend their scheduled shift regularly and punctually ready to fulfil all duties required during shift with a focus on customer satisfaction. They will meet daily efficiencies stipulated by Packaging Supervisor/Plant Manager.

Schedule: Nights

Salary: $26.55/hour

• There are 2 salary increases in the first year of employment, with a target rate of $29.50/hour.

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Ensure that all product passes all quality and food safety checks
• Ensure that all batch tracking and best before dates are correct.
• Following all policies and procedures when it comes to Health and safety.
• Making sure that the schedule is being followed and the proper cheese is being used with the proper packaging. Communicating with the Lead hand/ Supervisor if any issues or concerns.
  
  
  

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Some mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting and record keeping with the ability to adapt to changing environments quickly and easily
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills: demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to function independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to motivate and encourage employee to be team players and execute their tasks.
