In This Role You Will

• Operate straightforward equipment and machinery, and perform general labor duties.
• Load and unload containers, materials, and products on trucks or trailers by hand or forklift.
• Transfer goods, organize received products, and prepare goods for shipment.
• Blend fertilizer.
• Receive grain, and grade by sampling, testing, and weighing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Remove snow during winter months.

What You Bring To The Table

• Basic knowledge and skills to operate plant equipment and machinery safely.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean record; DZ license is an asset.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to operate skid steer, loader, and/or bobcat.
• Ability to read maps and bills of lading, follow delivery instructions, safety rules, and operating procedures; make accurate entries in logs; understand simple instructions.
• Conversational English skills.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• A desire to grow with the company; this position offers opportunities to learn about the agricultural business and advance your career.
• Willingness to work extra hours during spring planting and fall harvest seasons.
