Job summary

Central Ontario FS, a division of GROWMARK, is seeking seasonal workers to assist with loading/unloading, grading agricultural products, and ensuring quality standards. This position requires the ability to operate basic equipment and communicate effectively while adhering to safety protocols. The role starts in mid to late July and involves occasional overnight shifts.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this role you will:

• Load and unload containers, materials and products on trucks, or trailers by hand or by forklift truck.
• Transfer goods, organize the products received and prepare goods for shipment.
• Receive grain, corn, and soybeans, and grade by sampling, testing, and weighing the product to ensure quality aligns with GROWMARK’s standards.
• Be available to work some overnight shifts until about mid-December.

***** This is a Seasonal Position, starting mid to late July.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• A general knowledge and skills required to safely operate straightforward plant equipment, and/or machinery.
• An understanding of electrical panels.
• Conversational English skills, with the ability to follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures; write and make accurate reporting entries, comprehend simple instructions.
