Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in the industrial sector.
• Medical filling process and GMP qualifications when applicable.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of compressed gases is an asset.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Physically fit with strong work ethic and fast learner.
• Flexible working hours; afternoons/evenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare empty cylinders for filling.
• Fill and handle high-pressure cylinders per safety requirements.
• Perform quality and safety checks.
• Operate filling equipment and monitor processes.
• Coordinate with maintenance and management on cylinder issues.
• Ensure safety rules and housekeeping standards.
• Ship cylinders in compliance with TDG regulations.
• Assemble pallets and load/unload trucks.
• Use forklifts and other material handling equipment.

This position is located at Cambridge, ON.

Hourly Rate: $35.99

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the filling and movement of industrial gases cylinders. The candidate could also be responsible for the filling of medical gases and the quality control, based on the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) when applicable. We are offering this key position for an exceptionally detail oriented, safety conscious and hard working individual. Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing empty cylinders for filling
• Filling and handling high pressure cylinders while following Air Liquides safety requirements
• Responsible for quality and safety control
• Administration and ongoing process involvement
• Prepare, inspect, set up, monitor and operate filling equipment
• Communicate with maintenance and management on issues concerning cylinders
• Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices
• Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards
• Maintain and improve efficiency standards through teamwork
• Produce quality product in the required time frame
• Perform quality test to check fill weights, proper labeling and coding
• Perform proper cleaning of product tanks
• Ability to perform tasks in other areas if needed
• Ability to lift and/ or roll cylinders as necessary
• Operating material handling equipment including forklifts.
• Shipping of cylinder in accordance to TDG regulations
• Assembling pallets and loading/unloading trucks.

• Must be flexible in working hours. Afternoons and/or evening shifts required
