About the Company:
Our client is a leading Ontario-based concrete services provider, this company offers comprehensive solutions including GPR scanning, cutting, coring, and structural removal. With over 30 years of industry experience and a fully equipped mobile fleet, they ensure precise, efficient, and safe execution across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects. They are seeking an Operator to join their team!
Operate various equipment including slab saws, wall saws, core drills, handheld cut-off saws, wire saws, and demolition tools
Perform concrete core drilling at multiple angles and depths using diamond bits (wet/dry methods)
Conduct precise wall or slab sawing for openings like doors, windows, and HVAC penetrations
Break and remove concrete using jackhammers and breakers, and prepare debris for safe disposal
Set up work areas to meet safety, environmental, and operational standards (dust, slurry, noise)
Drive to job sites using company vehicles; load/unload tools and materials
Coordinate with site foremen, safety officers, and other tradespeople to meet project timelines
Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance
Follow all safety protocols, including PPE, hazard identification, and lockout/tagout procedures
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in concrete cutting, coring, or any related work
Valid G driver’s license with clean abstract
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding, outdoor environments
Strong mechanical aptitude with power tools and heavy equipment
Knowledge of construction site health & safety regulations (e.g. WHMIS, Working at Heights)
Ability to read construction drawings and follow layout instructions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work overtime or rotating shifts when required
