Job summary

Ulterra is seeking a CNC Machinist I to operate CNC mills and lathes, interpret blueprints, and set up tooling to exact specifications. You will load CNC programs, perform precision measurements, and monitor performance to ensure quality and efficiency in a shop environment.

Work includes preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration on process improvements. A minimum of 2 years CNC experience and forklift testing may be required; high school diploma or GED is expected.

Additional Details

The CNC Machinist I must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. The typical work environment will be in the shop or field which will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, working near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
