An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Operator for a temporary contract role focused on manufacturing sulphur-based chemicals. Position: Operator - 12 month - Temporary contract
Primary Location: North Vancouver, British Columbia
Shift: Monday to Friday – 40 hours – rotating shifts- overtime
Reports To: Plant Manager
Compensation: $55.44/hr + benefits
The CAD hourly rate for this position is $55.44 + benefits. Hourly rates are determined by role, level, and location. The hourly rate displayed on each job posting reflects the starting rate for new hires for the position. Rates may also be determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific rate factors for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process, as some facilities are subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements. Please note that the compensation details listed in the Canadian roles postings reflect the hourly rate only, and do not include benefits, pension contributions or additional incentives such as overtime and shift premiums.

About This Position and About You
This position is responsible for manufacturing sulphur based chemicals and loading chemicals for transport into trailers and rail cars. Due to the hazardous nature of the chemicals being handled (corrosives and toxic inhalation hazards), this position requires an extremely safety conscientious individual.
