Warehouse Associate - Part-Time Position

Schedule: 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm, Monday to Thursday

Pay Rate: $19.11 per hour

About:

Cardinal Couriers is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. This position involves picking, packing, shipping, receiving, hand bombing (palletizing), loading, and unloading orders into trucks. It is a physically demanding, fast-paced environment requiring lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or using equipment such as pallet trucks or dollies.
• Staging and sorting items, palletizing freight.
• Unloading, scanning, picking, packing, and shipping in a safe manner.
• Handling freight safely and appropriately.
• Counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking freight of various sizes.
• Keeping the work area organized, clean, and tidy.
• Inspecting freight for defects and damages and reporting to your supervisor.
• Receiving, unloading, and placing freight in the appropriate location on the dock.

Who You Are:

• Physically fit and able to load/unload packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment involving sorting, scanning, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• A team player with a professional attitude and positive relations with customers and colleagues.
• Dedicated, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
• Good communication, multi-tasking skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Organized and capable of maintaining a clean environment.
• Owns a pair of safety boots.
• Flexible regarding start/end times if needed.
• Ability to drive to the location.
