Warehouse Associate

10 am to 9 pm, Monday-Friday

Two locations: 10 Ecopark Cl. and 145 Walker Drive

Must have a car (travel between two locations is paid by company)

$19.11 per hour, plus benefits

About:

Cardinal Couriers is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. This position is responsible for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, hand bombing (palletizing), loading, and unloading orders into the trucks. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced environment that requires lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.

Roles/responsibilities of the ideal hire:

1. Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or by using equipment such as pallet trucks or dollies.
2. Staging and sorting of items, palletizing freight.
3. Unloading, scanning, picking, packing, and shipping in a safe manner.
4. Handling freight in a safe and appropriate manner.
5. Counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking freight of various sizes.
6. Keeping your work area organized, clean, and tidy.
7. Inspecting freight for defects and damages and reporting to your supervisor.
8. Receiving, unloading, and placing freight in the appropriate location on the dock.

Who you are:

1. You are physically fit and can load/unload packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
2. Must have a car.
3. You have 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment with sorting, scanning, packing, shipping, receiving, etc.
4. You are a team player with a professional attitude and have positive relations with customers and colleagues.
5. You are described as dedicated, hardworking, and very detail-oriented.
6. You have good communication skills, multi-tasking skills, and can meet deadlines.
7. You keep an organized and clean environment.
8. You own a pair of safety boots.
9. You are flexible regarding start/end times (if needed).
10. You are able to drive to the location.
