The Senior Manager, Global Wealth Management Operations (GWMO), Operations & Regulatory PMO plays a key role supporting business partners with the execution of major multidisciplinary efficiency, effectiveness, regulatory, and strategic growth initiatives across Global Wealth Management (GWM) business units. The Senior Manager will provide end-to-end program/project management strategic design and support on critical, high-priority business initiatives. The incumbent will ensure all related transformation initiatives are on track by continuously improving towards solid program management governance & execution framework, quickly gaining an understanding of GWM's products, policies, vendors, and business lines. In this role you will:Lead program/project teams on complex and time sensitive initiatives spanning business, operations, and regulatory, including engagement from multiple senior stakeholders across the BankBe accountable for the planning, execution, and timely delivery of programs/projects & maintain alignment to business goals and strategies, applying a strategic-to-tactical approachProvide creative and integrated solutions to complex problems which balance scope, time and qualityWork closely with Transformation teams, business teams and other stakeholders globally to ensure momentum on deliverables & milestonesCreate, deliver, and present project artifacts to senior executives on program / project priorities, and key implementation updates, including leading steering committee meetings, inclusion of Wealth content in bank or divisional communications and tracking of expenditures against budget.Effectively and proactively manage financials, prepare funding requests & business cases in line with Finance and ePMO guidelinesManage the business cases associated with key initiativesDesign program management framework, governance, and tools to ensure execution success while ensuring best usage of time Champion continuous delivery improvement, such as using feedback forms, relationship building.Standardize and continuously modernize presentation templates & executive summary dashboardsDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? ? We'd love to work with you if you have:A post-secondary degree with 7+ years' related experience including experience in program / project management and productivity improvementConsulting experience is considered an assetIn-depth knowledge of Wealth Management businesses, operational processes, client journeys and regulatory environment is an assetExpertise in Portfolio/Program/Project Management methodologies, tools, and templatesCertified in PMP is an assetProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrated leadership skills and critical thinkingThe ability to manage multiple concurrent, high priority initiatives with senior audiencesA focus on results with strong interpersonal, problem-solving & stakeholder management skillsStrong negotiation & influencing skills to engage and influence stakeholders collaboratively at all levels of the organizationEffective written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation capabilitiesSpanish language proficiency is considered an asset Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
