Job summary

Horizon Fertilizers is seeking an Operations & Truck Driver to support customers and location staff with reliable product delivery, hands-on operations, product handling, equipment maintenance, and day-to-day support.

This full-time role, based at our Saskatchewan location, requires valid licenses, experience with semi trucks, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Expect extended hours during busy seasons and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1A and Class 5 licenses in good standing.
• Experience operating semi trucks.
• Experience with fertilizer equipment is an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance willingness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong safety and product handling practices.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and move fertilizer and chemical products between Horizon locations and to customers.
• Load and unload products for customers and suppliers.
• Blend fertilizer for customers and maintain equipment.
• Transport fertilizer by semi or trucks to locations and customers.
• Haul fertilizer and chemical products as required and deliver anhydrous ammonia.
• Complete required checklists and logs; ensure trucks are maintained.
• Follow safety procedures and assist during busy seasons.
