Please note, this position is located onsite at our facility in Morrisville, NC. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.
This role administers a variety of training and development programs for associates within assigned Distribution Center(s). Assesses training and development needs. Helps individuals and teams develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Responsible for the planning and execution of learning and development content related to all phases of associate development. Provides training documentation, performance tracking, and training delivery. Successful candidates will possess strong data analytic skills and the ability to successfully deliver training materials to new hires, cross-training functions, leadership level positions, and associates needing performance improvement.
Delivers training programs for associates, including compliance, safety, specific job function training, and related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Oversees training in key warehouse operations areas: shipping, receiving, quality control, pick, pack, and inventory management systems.
Determines training needs, communicates with managers, and helps develop training aids such as instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids, contributing as a subject matter expert.
Gathers content, designs low-complexity training materials, meets timelines, and communicates risks to project managers or leads.
Recommends updates to course materials and manuals to meet specific training needs.
Participates in testing and piloting new training programs, providing feedback for successful deployment.
Assesses associates' skills, talents, performance, and productivity; prepares evaluations and recommends improvements.
Onboards new hires, manages training curriculum, identifies skill gaps, and future training needs.
Administers post-training evaluations and makes recommendations.
Implements measurement strategies consistently.
Willing to work extended hours as needed to meet training objectives.
Attends industry meetings, conferences, and seminars to stay current.
Maintains understanding of new educational and training methodologies.
Up to 20% travel may be required.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Education: Requires a four-year bachelor's degree and five years of experience or an equivalent combination. Training experience is highly preferred. Warehouse experience is desirable.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with software technology and remote meeting tools.
Ability to review and interpret data; adjust as appropriate.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to participate in organizational change initiatives.
Excellent problem-solving skills and issue resolution.
Ability to train others and meet learning objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong presentation skills.
Knowledge of Labor Management Systems and SOPs preferred.
Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse operations software and inventory systems preferred.
