The Operations Technician will set up, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, monitor and control site operations for the HDL. ICS, part of Baker Hughes’ Climate Technology Solutions division, develops next-generation carbon capture, utilization, and storage technologies for the energy industry. The role involves interfacing with multiple disciplines to ensure effective system operations, working on research and customer-facing projects involving complex systems in challenging environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating machinery and equipment following SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with assembly and sensor checks.
  • Monitoring production, ensuring quality, and participating in experiments and data analysis.
  • Documenting tasks, running Python scripts, and updating SOPs and reports.
  • Conducting fluid analysis and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Collaborating with engineers and team members, working independently and in teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM from an accredited university.
  • Familiarity with Python and OpenCV is a plus; interest in fluid properties beneficial.
  • 1-5 years experience in manufacturing, research, or tech development in relevant industries.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work at elevated heights.
  • Must work onsite continuously.

Work arrangements:

  • On-site, full-time, Monday to Friday.
