We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Team Member - Baler. The position will be stationed at our 900 Intermodal Drive location in Brampton, ON. This position will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing non-ferrous scrap metals in order to achieve operational goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, the control and care of the industrial fork lift and skid steer equipment which is used for shipping, receiving and production purposes.

  • Start Rate: $23 (2 year progressive increase program based on performance)

Hours of Work:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., every other Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

What's expected?

  • Perform material inspections for purposes of identifying contamination at the baler, removes all non-conforming material.
  • Facilitate the removal of material jams and completes all general housekeeping duties.
  • Assist with preventative and general maintenance as directed.
  • Operate counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement.

You have:

  • 1 year of warehouse, distribution or machine operating experience.
