The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Implementing and administering Loomis policies and procedures
- Monitoring and controlling daily operations
- Assisting with long-term operation of armored car routes and the cash vault
- Developing, maintaining, and supervising a professional, employee-centered culture
- Ensuring a safe and secure operation, high service levels, and cost-effective, productive operations
- Operational responsibility for all route operations (armored and ATM), vault, and facility security as directed by the Operations/Branch Manager
Typical Duties / Responsibilities :
- Complete and maintain scheduling/routing daily
- Oversee and coordinate armored and ATM route, dispatch, first-line ATM maintenance, vault, and terminal operations
- Maintain effectiveness and efficiency of route, terminal, and vault operations
- Ensure safety of employees, vehicles, and facilities through training, monitoring, and enforcement of policies
- Secure cargo and terminals, including opening and closing procedures
- Investigate accidents and complete required paperwork
- Develop and maintain customer service capabilities among staff
- Respond to customer inquiries or complaints and resolve logistical issues
- Coordinate with sales, other branches, departments, vendors, and carriers to create operational solutions for new customers
- Control overtime hours, monitor employee vacation schedules, and maintain operational efficiency
- Communicate promptly with employees to resolve issues or complaints
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Operations/Branch Manager
- Provide leadership focused on professionalism, continuous improvement, and exceeding goals
- Recruit, interview, test, select, train, and supervise operations personnel
- Oversee maintenance of vehicles, forklifts, and equipment
- Respond to emergencies, including injuries, security incidents, vehicle accidents, and investigations
- Manage route and vault data, including manual paperwork and electronic data
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications :
- A valid firearms permit
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills demonstrated through professional experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to teach, coach, and present
- Experience in transportation, warehousing, logistics, or related fields
- Experience in banking, retail cash, and ATM operations preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
