Overview

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is working with a high-volume distribution and fulfillment operation undergoing transformation and growth. We are looking for a driven Operations Supervisor to resolve operational issues on the floor and drive inventory execution and accuracy. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership, and turns direction into action.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of day-to-day operational issues across the distribution centre, resolving inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment challenges with urgency and accuracy.
  • Execute inventory movements, and layout adjustments as directed, working across receiving, put-away, and inventory control teams.
  • Review and resolve inventory discrepancies by investigating, performing secondary checks, and ensuring accurate cycle counts.
  • Respond to internal requests regarding missing or delayed inventory, ensuring prompt updates to physical stock and system records.
  • Oversee the handling of damaged or non-conforming goods, ensuring accurate disposition and system reconciliation.
  • Support the safety, cleanliness, and procedural compliance of the distribution centre through clear communication and example-setting.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior leadership, contributing operational insight to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution centre operations with a focus on inventory control and issue resolution.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and implement operational changes in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience supporting product slotting, physical inventory execution, and system adjustments.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and inventory reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Physically capable of working in a warehouse setting and comfortable with a hands-on role.
Remuneration
  • 80,000 – $100,000
