Job Description

Role: Operations Supervisor Salary: up to £41,000 dependant on experience (inclusive of London weighting) plus Bonus Location: Purfleet, RM19 1RR Portakabin is currently recruiting for an Operations Supervisor to join our London East Hire & Service Centre in Purfleet. You will support the management team in the successful delivery of refurbished and fitted-out Modular buildings, as well as supporting site maintenance/health and safety and continuous improvement. As the Operations Supervisor, you will ensure all works are undertaken in a structured manner whilst driving effective labour planning cost control improvements, delivering within agreed timescales, and adhering to safe working practices and quality standards at all times. You will also support management in leading on all aspects of Health and Safety within the area of responsibility. As well as manage individual performance and appraisals / reward systems. You will work alongside our project and commercial teams; therefore, you will be able to promote an environment of effective teamwork and communication. You will be hands-on, results-driven, and a role model to our Company values. We are looking for someone who has a passion for supporting and directly managing a team to deliver operational excellence. As a Site Supervisor, you will have:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Practical operational supervisory experience ideally in construction-related roles
  • Proven experience in managing health and safety within construction working environments
  • Some experience in team management
  • Experience in a similar role such as Service Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Project Supervisor in a construction related environment
  • SMSTS and CSCS card (desirable)
