This is a frontline supervisor position supporting the FedEx Express (FXE) Safety Above All Culture. The role manages specific day-to-day sort operations and Cargo Handlers (CH) staff within a station. Responsibilities include leading employees in proper package handling, routing, and recovery of potential service failures within the station sort function. The Operations Supervisor oversees all CH functions, including work activity direction, mentoring, coaching, training, and ensuring compliance with FXE policies, procedures, and government regulations.
