Job Summary
Galore Creek Mining Corporation is seeking an Operations Summer Student to support the Field Operations Group with the care and maintenance of the Galore Creek project site.
Reporting to the Superintendent of Field Operations, the Summer Student will provide hands-on support to operations with a focus on asset management, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities will include data collection and system updates, support for operational workflows, participation in field activities, and contributing to small-scale improvement projects.
This position will be field-based at the Galore Creek project site on a 15-day on and 13 days off rotational basis, inclusive of travel. This rotation is subject to change as the project.

Located in the territory of the Tahltan Nation in northwestern British Columbia, Galore Creek is one of the world’s largest undeveloped copper-gold-silver deposits. Galore Creek Mining Corporation (GCMC), a partnership between Newmont Corporation (Newmont) and Teck Resources Limited (Teck), is committed to advancing the asset towards a development decision with meaningful input from the Tahltan Nation and BC regulators. Qualifications
Pay Range (Annual Salary): 50,100 - 63,400
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
