Shift Manager

The Shift Manager is the shift leader responsible for delivering sales and profit results through profitability, guest satisfaction, people, and operations. They support the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager in managing daily operations during assigned shifts, focusing on sales, profitability, guest service, and team development. The Shift Manager directly manages a team of Team Members under the direction of the RGM.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow all cash control and security procedures (e.g., safe counting, cash drawers)
  • Maintain inventory through daily and weekly inspections
  • Receive inventory truck deliveries
  • Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service in a clean environment
  • Provide coaching and feedback to enhance team performance
  • Lead by example in executing shift plans and driving operational results
  • Ensure efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products within speed of service guidelines
  • Motivate team members across workstations during shifts
  • Review restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement
  • Uphold operational and brand standards
Qualifications and Skills:
