YOUR ROLE


Prepare and keep up to date changes in customs regulations. Advise clients and use one’s expertise to promote CEVA – Air & Ocean Canada Inc.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Prepare and follow claims, amendments, and drawbacks.
  • Understand and comply with the laws and regulations of different governments as well as procedures established by CEVA – Air & Ocean Canada including ISO norms of the company.
  • Approve and follow up on certificates of origin
  • Revise, update and create codes for products for the client base (HS classification).
  • Visit and perform consultation services to clients.
  • Resource person for technical information.
  • Support agents in the customs department.
  • Other duties as defined by the immediate supervisor.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

  • An attestation in collegiate studies or diploma in professional studies or the academic equivalent, and experience in customs industry is required. CCSC (Certified Customs Specialist) Certificate preferably.
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in consulting.

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Miscrosoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Fluent in French and English (both orally and written

Characteristics:

  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to manage stress
  • Attention to detail and professionalism
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service are all required skills for this position.
