Position Purpose

As a vital part of JCB’s Global & North American Parts team, the incumbent will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide range of JCB parts across North America from our Canada parts depot location.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order processing, customs documentation, and dispatch of goods from Canada in SAP WMS.
  • Lead JCB OSHA & IOSH Health and Safety Metrics and reports with 3PL Vendor on Site.
  • Manage inventory and Cycle counts with North American Inventory Control Manager.
  • Daily SAP & Systems maintenance to ensure the ERP system is performing optimally.
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis using MS PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Coordinate and consult with 3rd party TMS.
  • Review, modify and improve process documents.
  • Consult with customers (internal and external), suppliers, and our 3PL vendor.
  • Liaison for communication for customer service inquiries to 3PL.
  • Create and manage vendor POs within SAP.
  • Partner with the North American Parts General Manager on planning future capacity requirements and meeting the business growth objectives.

Nature & Scope

  • Reports to North American Parts Operations General Manager.
  • Domiciled in Ontario, Canada.
  • Travel 5-10%.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience with 3PL operations supervisor or manager level.
  • 3+ years of experience with warehousing and SAP WMS.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with 3PLs.
  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of operational experience preferably with 3PL Vendors.
  • Experience with inventory control procedures.
  • SAP WMS, Materials, Order to Cash, or P2P Experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP), and SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management and planning.
  • Ability to motivate staff and deliver results.
  • Influence and manage change within the business, promote creative problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional customer focus, effective listening skills, and communication.
  • Excellent operational supervisory skills.

Job Conditions

  • Both office environment and occasionally warehouse environment.
  • Subject to noise and temperature changes.
  • Can lift or pick up to thirty-five lbs.
