Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for operational aspects of the business including: ongoing success of retail and marketing programs, sales performance, and creative product branded concepts. The Operations Manager must be prepared to work weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage staff.
  • Store planning and merchandising.
  • Motivating and revenue goal oriented planning.
  • Warehouse planning and organization.
  • Ensure compliance with client brand standards.
  • Ensure quality, cleanliness, customer service and company policies and programs are maintained.
  • Responsible for executing shipments, creating warehouse tasks and warehouse orders, assessing product availability of orders, update orders as required.
  • Review employee hours worked into the payroll system and timely wage payment for hours worked.
What we look for
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Experience dealing with labour relations issues.
  • Experience in a warehouse and/or distribution environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Applies best practices and seeks opportunities to improve processes.
  • Management and organizational skills, capable of motivating, leading and developing associates.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of any POS system is an asset.
  • Experience working with branded concepts (e.g., Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza).
