Responsibilities

  • Achieve warehouse operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans and reviews, implementing standards for production, productivity, quality, and customer service. Resolve problems, complete audits, and identify trends.
  • Ensure department service levels are met through daily monitoring.
  • Monitor and control department expenses in line with budgets and targeted costs per unit.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and audits.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by creating and enhancing working practices.
  • Lead by example, prioritizing safety in all activities, and maintaining a safe work environment by following standards and legal regulations.
  • Manage manpower to meet targets, including recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining staff. Communicate expectations and conduct performance reviews.
  • Plan for succession by developing local employees for key roles.
  • Create and manage weekly production schedules, collaborating with other department managers to ensure resource availability.
  • Meet regularly with outbound management teams to coordinate efforts across departments and shifts.
  • Optimize warehouse space and capacity planning in coordination with other departments.
  • Stay updated on industry knowledge through educational opportunities and professional networks.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of management experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Associate’s degree in business operations helpful; Bachelor’s degree in business or logistics preferred.
