Located in Hamilton,Ontario, Canadian Liquids Processors Limited is a proud division of EmterraGroup and is the only distillation facility of its type in Canada that is licensedwith the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks as well as ExciseCanada. We are a 100% Canadian, privately controlled company operating out ofHamilton, Ontario. We have extensive experience in all aspects of productrecycling, ethanol production and wastewater treatment resulting incost-effective and environmentally conscious recycling.

We are currentlysearching for a Plant Manager to join our team.

What will you do?

  • Oversee the receipt,inspection, sorting, and processing of waste materials, ensuring efficient andcompliant operations.
  • Responsible for theoperations of equipment and tools at a receiving facility.
  • Inspecting, sorting,and processing various types of waste materials, ensuring compliance withenvironmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Liquid management inthe processing and storage stages.
  • Continuously lookfor ways to improve liquid management at the facility.
  • Utilize resources to fulfill contract compliance and highcustomer satisfaction.
  • Ensure daily goals are met utilizing a hands-on approachthrough the effective management of employees.
  • Continually review operations to ensure optimal efficiencyand allocation of resources.
  • Work closely with other operational stakeholders to ensuredaily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks andgoals are achieved.
  • Grow profitability by executing the Company’s business plansand strategies.
  • P&L responsibility including the development andachievement of budgetary goals to ensure the long-term viabilityof the operation.
  • Collaborate and foster a productive relationship with thelocal union representatives.
  • Maintain a culture of safety by implementing and monitoringa safety management program to ensure a safe and productive work environmentfor all employees.
  • Work within the Ministry of Environment guidelines and the EnvironmentalCompliance Approval.

What will you bring?

  • Engineering degreeor post secondary education in a related field such as business management or environmentalscience, is required for this role.
  • 2-5 years ofmanagement experience, in a waste transfer / processing facility is an asset.
  • Hands on experience workingin a unionized environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent inventory management and record keeping skills.
  • A strong work ethic and hands-on approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and drive to achieve continual improvement.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise workload.
  • Strong track record of improving performance at a brewery, winery or distilleryor other related liquid processing is preferred.
  • Previous use of analytical tools and software relating to liquid quality ispreferred.
  • Experience with quality control systems.
