As a key member of the plant leadership team, you'll share responsibility for driving reliable, efficient, and profitable operations while upholding the highest standards in Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Quality. Your impact will go beyond the day-to-day; you’ll be a champion for continuous improvement and a key voice in shaping the future of the plant.

In this role, you’ll lead and support a dedicated team of manufacturing professionals, collaborate with peers across a network of facilities, and bring industry best practices to life. You’ll play a vital role in helping both people and systems perform at their very best.

What will you be doing?:

- overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the plant, ensuring all production goals are achieved while maintaining a gold safety standard
- collaborating across departments to align daily operations with production targets
- planning and managing maintenance outages and supporting long-term reliability
- seading investigations and improvements related to safety, quality, productivity, and performance
- managing operational budgets and inventory
- ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
- supporting and guiding team tenured team members
- keeping accurate records and reports on key metrics like production volumes, inventory, and shipments

What do you bring to the table?:

- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of operations, process, and maintenance fundamentals
- leadership experience within a manufacturing setting
- 3rd Class Power Engineer certification and registration with ABSA
- strong communication skills — both written and verbal
- proven problem-solving abilities and a knack for critical thinking
- experience with Continuous Improvement is a bonus
- able to pass Drug & Alcohol testing and a background check
