What you will do
The O&M Facility Plant Manager will be part of our P3 Building Technologies & Solutions business at Johnson Controls. This position will be located at the Milton District Hospital, where you will be responsible for the execution of an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) operation contract(s) site and reporting to the O&M Operations Manager. This will involve overseeing mechanical operations, programming, monitoring, alarm response or other Plant activities, and communicating with vendors, contractors, the Customer Business Manager, Operations Manager and the O&M team on all issues concerning execution of the contract.

How you will do it
• Oversee and schedule contractors needed to fulfill O&M contractual Plant obligations.
• Be responsible for programming and monitoring alarm responses and mechanical operations. Contract may specify responsibilities for HVAC, mechanical, fire, security systems, etc.
• Maintain and update all assigned systems.
• Develop and implement energy reports with the Energy Team.
• Provide regular management reports as requested by the O&M team and the client.
• Be required to be on call 24/7 to provide emergency telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility.
• Ensure compliance to all city, provincial and federal license and certification requirements. Maintain and submit all records and documents to proper authorities.
• Review all work and assure performance in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.
• Perform other duties as required.

What we look for

• Five or more years’ experience in plant operations and maintenance.
• Able to train entry-level and existing FM personnel on Plant systems and Building Automation System controls.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation.
• Able to deal with customers and others at all levels.
• Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies.
• Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment.
