Role Overview:
As an Operations Leader, you will have the opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role. Working closely with our VP of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows, and maintaining high levels of productivity, quality, and safety. This role is perfect for someone early in their career with leadership potential and a desire to develop into a more senior position within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with leadership to execute strategic plans aligned with company goals.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the alignment of operational goals.
· Oversee day-to-day operations and maintain seamless workflows across all departments.
· Implement best practices for process improvement and operational effectiveness.
· Assist in budget development and management alongside the finance team.
· Identify opportunities for cost-saving and revenue generation.
· Build and lead a motivated, high-performing team, promoting a collaborative work environment.
· Mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
· Address operational challenges proactively, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
· Support contingency planning for any operational changes or disruptions.
· Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field/equivalent experience.
· At least 3–5 years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on operations.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
· Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
· Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and operational management.
· Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001 standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, JIT).
· Knowledge of production systems (MRP, ERP) and relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
· Ability to handle conflict resolution, employee development, and task delegation.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Experience working with various manufacturing machinery and technologies.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with a focus on safety and quality.
· Willingness to work flexible hours and handle physically demanding tasks as required.
