Job summary

Peripheral is seeking an Operations Intern to work with our founders and Chief of Staff on a range of operational projects in Toronto, Canada. You’ll gain real ownership and exposure across finance, marketing, office management, events, and vendor management.

Ideal candidates demonstrate bias-to-action, strong communication, leadership through activities, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while building efficient processes, including automation with AI tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience managing projects end-to-end
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through university, work, extracurriculars, or professional experience
  • Marketing, creative, or communications experience is a strong plus
  • Must have the right to work in Canada and be willing to relocate to Toronto and work in-person at our office

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional operational projects across multiple functions
  • Work closely with founders and Chief of Staff on high-priority initiatives
  • Move quickly, solve problems, and take ownership in a fast-paced environment
  • Help with office management, logistics, and vendor coordination
  • Assist in projects across operations, finance, marketing, and people operations

THE OPPORTUNITY

As an Operations Intern at Peripheral, you’ll work closely with our founders and Chief of Staff across a wide range of operational projects. You’ll be given real ownership and exposure to many parts of the business, helping us move quickly and execute on some of our most important priorities.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving problems, and is excited to work across functions.

You’ll support projects across:

  • Operations, finance, and administrative functions

  • Marketing, creative, and communications

  • Office management and people operations

  • Sports operations, events, and logistics

  • Supply chain and vendor management

  • Special projects led by the founders and Chief of Staff

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree

  • Previous experience managing projects end-to-end

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally through university organizations, extracurriculars, or professional experience

  • Marketing, creative, or communications experience is a strong plus

  • Must have the right to work in Canada and be willing to relocate to Toronto and work in-person at our office
