Job description
About Bureau

Bureau is a furniture and design company specializing in workspace fit-outs and made-to-order furnishings. We believe that modern workspaces are decidedly unmodern, fixed on out-of-touch, catalogue cliché notions of what it means to make deep and meaningful work. Utilizing data and technology, we design spaces that flex and modulate to the ever-changing, often abstract needs and behaviors of its people, furnishing businesses with the tools they need to shape workspaces that work.

The Role

As an Operations & Installation Coordinator, you’ll support both our Operations Lead Canada and our Lead Installer in Vancouver. This is a hybrid role split between customer-facing operational support and hands-on field installation work. This is a full-time position.

  • Supporting Operations Lead Canada: Managing the install calendar and ensuring smooth coordination, resolving scheduling or logistical conflicts
  • Supporting Operations Lead Canada: Communicating with customers to ensure issue-free installations
  • Supporting Operations Lead Canada: Responding to customer requests and queries in a timely manner
  • Supporting Operations Lead Canada: Working with the sales team to manage delivery estimates and communicate lead times
  • Supporting Lead Installer: Assisting with on-site booth builds and product installations
  • Supporting Lead Installer: Troubleshooting installation issues
  • Supporting Lead Installer: Attending service calls
  • Supporting Lead Installer: Supporting warehouse management and logistics
  • Supporting Lead Installer: Helping build strong relationships with partners and vendors
Required Skills
  • Ability to lift, move and assist with installation of booths, office furniture and related products
  • Comfortable with frequent travel within Vancouver and BC
  • Ability to problem-solve in real time during customer interactions
  • Comfortable working with tools and supporting installation activities
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn
  • Clean driving record and experience or comfortable in operating larger vehicles (up to 26-foot box trucks, for example)
Favorable Skills
  • Experience in an operations, logistics, customer service or coordination role
  • Comfort with both office-based and hands-on, field-based work
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working in customer service or a client-facing environment
Compensation

This role offers a salary of approximately CAD $65,000 per year in addition to a generous benefits package.
