Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Manager for complex energy and healthcare/Higher Education projects in Ontario. The role oversees on-site leadership, coordinating owners, contractors and internal teams to drive strategy, scope and value engineering while ensuring safety and compliance.

Requires 10+ years in built environment PM, licensed engineer in Ontario, PMP preferred, Procore knowledge, and a strong track record delivering on-time, on-budget EPC projects involving energy and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management
• Licensed Eng. (Ontario) is required
• PMP certification preferred
• CEM designation an asset
• IHSA - Supervision certificate
• Knowledge of Procore is an asset
• Ontario driver’s license required
• Healthcare and Higher Education project experience is an asset
• 10+ years of project management experience in built environment with EPC, mechanical/plumbing retrofits, HVAC controls, renewables

Responsibilities

• Provides input on strategy, vendor/partner selection, scope, value engineering, risk assessment.
• Leads supervision, design, engineering, installation, start-up and commissioning of central utility plant equipment and HVAC systems.
• Acts as the on-site leader and customer representative for execution teams.
• Develops project schedules, resource plans and ensures on-time, on-budget outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with all health, safety, legal and industry standards.
