Job description

Duties:

  • Support the development of engineering record audits, processes, and standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Provide production and economic analysis of operating assets to drive performance enhancements, preventative maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Provide technical support in maintenance, reliability, and project engineering, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational practices.
  • Travel to BluEarth facilities to support engineering record reviews, system installations and improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement efforts in maintenance, production performance and SCADA systems across operation facilities.
  • Uphold all aspects of BluEarth's Health, Safety & Environmental policies, practices, and programs.
  • Uphold BluEarth's values and consistently enhance the image and reputation of the Company.
  • Other responsibilities may include providing technical support in the areas of maintenance, reliability, and project engineering.

Education:

  • Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to interpret, create and communicate markups to engineering drawings and other records.
  • Strong data analysis skills (e.g. Power BI) is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and manage concurrent tasks with varying deadlines.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
