Job summary

Keyera is seeking an Operations Engineer to support the Empress I-V and Empress VI facilities, located approximately 100 km from Medicine Hat, Alberta. The Operations Engineer will serve as a key technical resource for the facilities, providing day-to-day engineering support and working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Integrity, Technical Services, Projects, and external engineering partners.

The ROLE requires a university degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and a P.Eng

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• P.Eng designation in Alberta.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in an operating facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and troubleshooting support to Maintenance, Operations, and Integrity.
• Participate in Management of Change (MOC) with facility stakeholders.
• Collaborate with vendors and engineering partners to resolve design issues.
• Design Issue for Construction packages addressing HSE, reliability, cost and schedule considerations.
• Prepare and authenticate technical drawings and documentation (piping isometrics, line designation tables, code calculations).
• Provide project management support for capital and OPEX projects from conception to completion.
