Job summary

A&A Trading Ltd. is seeking an Operations Engineer to join our growing Operations Group in coastal British Columbia.

You’ll work on forestry development, road construction, harvesting operations, stakeholder relations, and tenure management, gaining exposure to every aspect of our business. You are an ideal candidate if you have 5+ years of coastal forestry experience, want to broaden your operational exposure, enjoy problem solving, and take ownership of your work.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of coastal forestry experience.
  • Willingness to broaden operational exposure.
  • Registration as an RPF or RFT (or eligibility) required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate forestry development projects.
  • Support harvesting and road-building activities.
  • Engage with contractors, Indigenous partners, regulators and teams.
  • Manage schedules, costs and project performance.
  • Participate in permitting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to long-term operational planning.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is built for the forestry professional who is ready to move beyond simply executing projects and wants to become a future operational leader. A&A Trading Ltd. is seeking an Operations Engineer to join our growing Operations Group.

You’ll work on real projects, solve real problems, and gain exposure to every aspect of our business—from forestry development and road construction to harvesting operations, stakeholder relations, and tenure management. THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll be involved in the planning, development, and execution of forestry projects across coastal British Columbia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating forestry development projects
  • Supporting harvesting and road-building activities
  • Working with contractors, Indigenous partners, regulators, and operational teams
  • Managing schedules, costs, and project performance
  • Participating in permitting and stakeholder engagement processes
  • Contributing to long-term operational planning
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
