Job description

We are looking to add an Operations Coordinator to our fast-growing team in Calgary.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a secondary resource for customer care tasks including (but not limited to):
• Processing customer purchase orders for the Canadian business.
• Procuring materials via intercompany channels.
• Assisting with various customer inquiries (technical requests etc.)
• Collecting Innospec’s supporting documents and certificates as required.
• Backup coverage for the Canadian supply chain operations including (but not limited to):
• Monitoring stock levels and tracking products across North America.
• Reviewing lead-times and production schedules.
• Assisting in various cost-improvement exercises for the regional Supply Chain Manager.
• Supporting all the above with SAP Go-Live Implementation.
• Engaging in sales-related activities by investigating new leads and qualifying prospective customers.
• Joining the sales team at local conferences to expand networking.
• Assisting in sales preparation for critical meetings, analyzing commercial data and building customer profiles for management.
• Collaborating with the Sales team on CRM related activities and troubleshooting.
• Conducting various research on policy changes, industry regulations and market trends to further sales growth in Canada.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• ERP Experience required
• SAP experience preferred
• CRM experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Works well both independently and within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Interest in pursuing a sales career path within Innospec
