Job summary

A leading company in business intelligence in Mississauga is seeking a professional to support the Director of Strategy and Business Intelligence. In this role, you will conduct operational efficiency analyses, prepare financial evaluations, and collaborate on special projects. A minimum of three years of experience in business analysis is required, along with advanced Excel skills. This full-time position may involve travel and requires flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operational efficiency analyses to identify opportunities to streamline business functions.
  • Support in preparation of analysis and evaluation for new products and business segments.
  • Support in Operating Expenses Analysis, Budgeting, variance analysis and financial planning.
  • Validate the Monthly Reports produced by head office to identify deviations.
  • Compile Targets annual review cycles by collecting and preparation of financial vision.
  • Prepare non-financial vision by reviewing annual cycle targets to support management of the annual Strategic Planning process.
  • Use financial and non-financial information to prepare Presentations for Monthly BU Management Team Meetings.
  • Support special projects such as pricing analysis or investment evaluation.
  • Collaborate on financial modeling for equipment purchases and rental ROI.

SUMMARY

Support and assist the Director of Strategy and Business Intelligence in designing and developing enterprise-wide data analysis, reporting solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES·

  • Manage operational efficiency analyses to identify opportunities to streamline business functions
  • Support in preparation of analysis and evaluation for new products and business segments
  • Support in Operating Expenses Analysis, Budgeting, variance analysis and financial planning
  • Support the evaluation of current and future financial conditions of the company
  • Validation of the Monthly Reports produced by head office to identify deviations
  • Compile Targets annual review cycles by collecting and preparation of financial vision.
  • Prepare non-financial vision by reviewing annual cycle targets to prepare and supports the management of the annual Strategic Planning process
  • Use financial and non-financial information to prepare Presentations for the Monthly BU Management Team Meetings
  • Supporting initiatives as part of internal quality or compliance efforts
  • Act as a strategic financial partner to the Director of Strategy and BI and regional business leaders.
  • Support special projects such as pricing analysis, investment evaluation, or ERP/reporting system improvements.
  • Collaborate on financial modeling for equipment purchases, inventory optimization and rental ROI.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of pivot tables, macros, and data analysis tools. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general personal computer use.

EDUCATION/ TRAINING:
