About Us:

TLR is a 27-year-old Property Management and Land Acquisition company supporting its sister company, BURNCO Rock Products Ltd., a well-established, 113-year-old construction materials business. As our footprint grows, we're building a strong team to match—and that's where you come in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee package deliveries and ensure proper procedures are followed by the team

Security & Risk Management

  • Support and supervise CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems
  • Help assess risks, update preventative plans (PMPs), and implement improvements
  • Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Response Procedures (ERPs)
  • Assist in rolling out and maintaining security systems across North America
  • Keep thorough records of incidents and ensure documentation is complete and accurate

Facility & Incident Management

  • Monitor external events like weather or news that could impact employee safety or site security
  • Respond to and help manage security incidents, ensuring timely communication and reporting
  • Supervise and guide the OCC team's responses to incidents and emergencies
  • Oversee the Building Automation System (BAS) for the Calgary Head Office (with the potential to expand to other locations)

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare weekly reports summarizing key security activities, incidents, and any follow-up actions
  • Ensure the team is following protocols and meeting compliance requirements
  • Work with other departments to resolve security concerns or process improvements
