Job description

PowerON is seeking a highly proactive and analytical O&AM Analyst to support the successful implementation and ongoing optimization of our in-house Operations & Maintenance (O&M) function and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. This role will serve as a key integrator across field operations, technical teams, and senior leadership, ensuring that strategic initiatives are translated into actionable tasks and monitored for performance and accountability.

The O&AM Analyst will play a critical role in enhancing service delivery to clients, supporting performance reporting obligations, and fostering a culture of operational discipline. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in data analysis, performance tracking, project coordination, and cross-functional communication to help support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

Analyze current O&M operational processes and identify opportunities for optimization

Document business requirements for system enhancements and new functionality

Conduct gap analysis between the current state and the desired future state of operations

Document process flow diagrams, use cases, and functional specifications

Support change management initiatives to facilitate successful adoption of new processes

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor KPIs across all operational areas and identify performance gaps

Track and report on departmental objectives and individual accountability metrics

Create scorecards and performance dashboards for leadership review

Conduct regular reviews with department heads to track task completion

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives based on performance data

EAM System Support & Documentation

Support post-implementation activities for the Enterprise Asset Management system, contributing to optimal system performance and user adoption

Configure and maintain EAM system settings, including asset hierarchies, work order templates, preventive maintenance schedules, and KPI dashboards

Create and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials

Monitor data integrity through regular audits and implementation of data governance controls

Reporting & Analytics

Create and update a comprehensive reporting suite for internal and external stakeholders

Prepare and distribute regular performance reports

Build interactive dashboards using Power BI or similar tools

Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making

Project & Meeting Coordination

Coordinate cross-functional meetings related to O&M operations

Document meeting minutes, action items, and follow up on deliverables

Support project coordination activities including timeline tracking, resource coordination, and status reporting

Client & Stakeholder Support

Liaise with clients on reporting requirements

Prepare and deliver professional presentations and reports for clients

Coordinate client meetings, document requirements, and support timely delivery of all reporting obligations

Support positive relationships with client representatives

Proactively identify and address client concerns or requests

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field

Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Analyst, preferably in operations, maintenance, or asset management environments

Strong understanding of asset management principles and ISO 55001 standards

Experience with SAAS Asset Management systems (e.g. MaintainX, or similar)

Proven track record in creating and delivering business intelligence reports

Experience working with transit agencies or in the transportation sector is an asset

Experience in documenting and implementing SOP and workflows

Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
