We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our team across multiple business functions including purchasing, production scheduling, invoicing, and IT systems in the role of Operations and Purchasing Assistant. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain cross-functional experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or service environment. This position is located at our Portage, WI facility.

Wage:$40,000.00/annually

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Purchasing Support

• Assist in creating and tracking purchase orders
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm order status and delivery timelines
• Maintain accurate records of procurement documents

Scheduling Support

• Help update and monitor production or service schedules
• Assist in coordinating internal resources to meet delivery timelines
• Support logistics and materials planning as needed

Invoicing & Admin

• Assist in preparing customer invoices and verifying purchase details
• Reconcile invoices with shipment and order data
• Support finance team in maintaining accurate billing records

IT & Systems Assistance

• Provide basic troubleshooting support for common tech issues (printers, logins, etc.)
• Help maintain digital filing systems and data entry into ERP/software platforms
• Assist IT coordinator with special projects or system upgrades

What You Bring:

• Enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a post-secondary program (Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field)
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Comfortable using Excel and basic business software
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and pitch in where needed

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Visual, etc.)
• Experience with basic IT support or interest in technology
• Previous admin, customer service, or warehouse experience
