PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking an Operations Agent to oversee daily airport operations in Calgary, coordinating schedules, gate assignments, and baggage handling while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will liaise with airline staff, ground crews, and security agencies to address operational issues and emergencies, delivering timely information to staff and passengers and maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in airport operations or related field.
  • Strong understanding of airport operations and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with airport management software and systems.
  • Able to use IPads/Tablets, computers and mobile devices to access information.
  • Pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Must be eligible to obtain required credentials/clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, US Customs as applicable).
  • Willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operational activities within the airport.
  • Monitor and manage flight schedules, gate assignments, and airport resources.
  • Liaise with airline representatives, ground crew, and air traffic control.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Respond to operational issues and emergencies promptly.
  • Provide timely information to staff and passengers regarding flight status and changes.
  • Manage passenger boarding and disembarking processes.
  • Oversee baggage handling and resolve baggage-related issues.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for aircraft and facility upkeep.
  • Assist in implementing emergency response plans and protocols.
  • Monitor weather conditions and their impact on flight operations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports and logs.
  • Participate in training and development programs related to airport operations.
  • Ensure high level of customer service and passenger satisfaction.
  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations, and promptly addressing any operational issues or emergencies. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with airline staff, airport personnel, and external agencies to maintain operational excellence and passenger satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in airport operations or a related field
  • Strong understanding of airport operations and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in using airport management software and systems
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).
  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
