This position is critical as your main priorities are monitoring numerous systems including fire and life safety, access control and CCTV. This role will also assist in the tracking and deployment of security staff and handle a variety of dispatch duties including incident call taking. You will also be speaking directly with Paladin’s clients and troubleshooting issues while providing excellent customer service.

Shift Times:

  • Continental - Days and Nights (8:00AM - 8:00PM) & (8:00PM - 8:00AM)
  • Must be comfortable with 12 hour shifts - one week will be a day schedule, and the following week would be nights.

Job Description:

  • Ensure that all Operational Calls/Email – both Inbound and outbound are responded to and processed according to Paladin Security Policy and Procedure.
  • Monitor and generate reports for OSL (Open Shift Lists) and maintain the hourly reports to internal management group.
  • Support and assist Field Staff’s inquiries such as book off in the system, schedule updates, shift change/giveaway and general inquiries.
  • Responsible for directing incoming calls or escalating them to respective supervisors/managers if required.
  • Perform various administrative duties on a routine basis, such as Open Shift Tags, Field Staff Check Ins, daily update reports and auditing inbound/outbound emails.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by direct supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Security experience is considered an asset but not a requirement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior customer service skills, including exceptional telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
