Job description

Our story began with a passionate idea that we could change the world... and to be honest, we’ve never stopped believing that. In 1986, it was a simple concept: microbiology teamed with innovation and clinical contribution could eliminate an issue profoundly impacting the healthcare industry – HIV acquired through needle-stick injuries.

In Australia, we lived out our dream. Investing years into R&D to create the safest containment system in the world and challenging industry standards to advocate for higher sharps protection, we witnessed an 80+ percent reduction in disposal-related needlestick injuries nationwide. And then we kept going...

Who are we looking for?

L'administrateur des opérations, with 3 to 5 years of experience, is responsible for the daily operational administration of our Quebec City facility, involving client reception, logistics, scheduling, purchasing, billing, and environmental compliance.

Operations Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate client appointments, including scheduling, changes, and notifications.
  • Maintain accurate waste receipt and shipment records, including Waste Manifests, Bills of Lading, and work orders.
  • Follow applicable regulations (MTO, TDG, MOE, provincial laws) related to waste transportation and management.
  • Ensure all documents (lab analyses, work orders, BOLs, manifests, driver logs, hazard assessments) are completed correctly and organized daily.
  • Prepare work orders based on service requests and complete billing post-service with attention to detail.
  • Handle customer and facility inquiries, directing them appropriately.
  • Create and update customer accounts, waste classifications, and pricing profiles in our CRM system.
  • Generate waste diversion and other reports for clients and management upon request.
  • Perform general office administration, including electronic and paper filing.
  • Assist with procurement and purchasing as needed.
  • Monitor stock levels, delivery times, costs, and efficiency metrics.
  • Organize warehouse, plan routes, and process shipments.
  • Analyze performance data and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO standards.
