Job description

Operations Administrator

About Us

Over The Edge is the world's leader in urban rappelling. We transform urban landmarks into zones of courage, fun, community and change. The thrill of going over the edge of a landmark combines urban energy and adventure with professional expertise to deliver extraordinary rappelling experiences. Throughout North America, we operate locations where people from 9-100 years old can experience the exhilaration of going over the edge at our Altitude Zones.

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re seeking someone who thrives on organization, follows through on the fine print, and can juggle many moving parts with calm confidence. You’re tech-savvy, process-driven, and energized by logistics. You’ll bring a high level of care and curiosity, always looking for ways to improve workflows and support your team.

If you’re motivated by structure, enjoy working independently in a remote or office setting, and want to be part of something adventurous and meaningful, we want to hear from you.

Aligned with our core values of Passion, Adventure, and Pride, the ideal candidate is adaptable, solution-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence, even when the details get messy.

Why Join Us?

  • Unlimited Vacation & Personal Time
We trust you to manage your time in a way that supports your personal well-being and your ability to thrive at work. Take the time you need, when you need it.
  • Best-in-Class Benefits
We’ve got you covered with support for your health, wellness, and remote work life. From healthcare subsidies to home office perks and student loan matching, we invest in your full self.
  • Remote Work Lifestyle
Work from anywhere, your home office, a cozy café, or while traveling (as long as there’s Wi-Fi). We support you with the tools you need to stay connected and productive.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate and book travel for event teams: flights, hotels, and rentals
  • Set up and audit event platforms like Fotaflo and FundRazr
  • Manage internal systems (Salesforce, SharePoint) for logistics tracking
  • Request and organize insurance documents and certificates
  • Audit contracts, finance reports, automation emails, and client access
  • Track timelines and ensure event logistics are executed on schedule
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain up-to-date client and event files
  • Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing process improvement
  • Support with NY DOL compliance paperwork as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, administration, or event coordination
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and follow-through
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, SharePoint, or other project management systems
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
  • Bonus: Experience with nonprofit, tourism, or event industries

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary: $45,000 (based on experience)
  • Benefits: Healthcare subsidies, home office support, wellness reimbursements, student loan or retirement match, travel expense coverage, and more

If you're passionate about logistics and ready to help us take operations to the next level, one event at a time.
